NCIA members and Cannabis Business Summit speakers among The Cannabis Business Executive Top 100 list

The Cannabis Business Executive, a trade publication covering the burgeoning legal marijuana industry, has just released its Top 100 List of the most influential people working in cannabis today. Among the 100, fully 40 recipients are members of the National Cannabis Industry Association and of those members, three-quarters have been featured speakers at an NCIA Cannabis Business Summit event.

According to CBE:

“The CBE 100 is comprised of both private and public sector individuals that have had the greatest impact on the Cannabis Industry. This year’s CBE 100 is heavily weighted towards political and activist members since cannabis is still illegal under federal law. CBE Press LLC believes that this balance will shift as the legitimate Cannabis Industry fully takes hold nationwide over the next several years and federal prohibition is finally lifted.

CBE acknowledges the subjective nature of this years list and notes that as the industry grows, the process will become more data driven and will feature an increasing number of business leaders who are driving the industry towards excellence.
