Professional Services Director - Insights & Analytics

Rick is a Professional Services Director on BDSA’s Insights and Analytics team supporting relationships with BDSA’s many cannabis and CPG clients, as well as with key industry groups and the media. In this role, Rick executes and supports custom and syndicated analytic initiatives that combine BDSA’s retail sales data, consumer intelligence, and other proprietary datasets to derive actionable insights that help address clients’ key business questions and better inform innovation and strategy for cannabis brands and retailers. Prior to joining BDSA, Rick managed NielsenIQ’s Cannabis Practice for 3 years following the acquisition of his cannabis market research firm, Cannabiz Consumer Group (C2G), in 2018 where he helped brands and retailers better understand cannabis consumers and the interaction and impact cannabis legalization has on conventional consumer packaged goods categories, brands, and retailers. He currently lives and works in the Chicagoland area.
