Glenn is the Chief Marketing Officer for Sunderstorm, home of the Kanha gummies brand. In this role, he oversees all corporate and brand marketing strategy including the expansion of Kanha from its California roots into Massachusetts, Nevada, and Colorado.
Over his career, he has overseen digital and traditional marketing, social media, and direct-to-consumer initiatives with a focus on the intersection of brands and content for both disruptive and disrupted businesses. He has led both sales and business development at an enterprise level, having worked closely with industry-leading partners such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, YouTube, and Walmart.
He mentors several companies in the Los Angeles TechStars startup incubator, where he provides guidance across marketing, business development, strategy, and management for early-stage companies in those programs. He continues to advise Techstars backed companies like Blue Fever (also backed by Amazon’s Alexa Fund and Serena Williams’ Serenafund) and Shop LatinX.
Prior to joining Sunderstorm, Glenn was the Head of Marketing and Sales at PRØHBTD, a hybrid consumer brands and content startup in the hemp and cannabis industry where oversaw all aspects of consumer, corporate, and b2b marketing, including launching consumer brands in the beauty and recreational space.
Previously, Glenn served as VP & head of marketing of Maker Studios, one of the largest multi-platform networks that was acquired by the Walt Disney Company. There, he worked with some of the largest influencers and social media stars in the world and on original series and film campaigns distributed through partners such as Apple, Netflix, & YouTube.
Glenn held senior marketing and sales roles at both Universal Music and Sony Music, executing global campaigns for artists ranging from Adele to AC/DC, as well as overseeing over $700 million in sales working with major retail accounts such as Amazon, Walmart, Target and Apple.
