Sabrina Fendrick is the founder and CEO of Essentia Endeavors, a consulting firm working to help cannabis businesses identify and amplify their corporate purpose with a customized social impact or formal ESG strategy. In addition, Essentia Endeavors also provides strategic planning and general public affairs services. Sabrina has nearly 15-years of experience working at the intersection of cannabis policy, social justice advocacy and ESG.
Prior to founding Essentia Endeavors, Sabrina spent nearly seven years as Chief Public Affairs Officer for Berkeley Patients Group - the nation's oldest, continuously operating dispensary in the country. She served as a liaison for the company with legal experts, regulators, lawmakers, community leaders, the media and industry trade organizations. Much of her work focused on advancing a sustainable, restorative and equitable framework for California’s emerging industry.
Sabrina began her career in the cannabis space in 2008 as chapter organizer and women's outreach director for Washington D.C.-based National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).
She is a dynamic public speaker and communications expert with notable success in public relations, government affairs, corporate social responsibility, stakeholder mobilization, strategy and policy analysis. Sabrina is uniquely skilled at articulating complex, intersectional cannabis policy issues for the public and lawmakers. She regularly presents as an industry expert at conferences and legal seminars.
