Melinda Adamec is the Sr. Director for Strategic Partnerships at OMI Industries, a global leader in plant-based odor abatement solutions. Adamec manages all aspects of the cannabis industry for OMI’s consumer and industrial brands including serving as brand manager for Cannabolish plant-based smoke odor removers. Prior to joining OMI, she spent eight years as a Senior Vice President at two public relations agencies in Washington, D.C. With experience steeped in building consumer brands (Ace Hardware, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Reuters, Rosetta Stone, US Postal Service) using a variety of marketing disciplines, Adamec also possesses a great deal of knowledge in the financial sector, having spent time in both Marketing Manager and associate Vice President seats for FBR Capital Markets. Adamec has worked on a variety of award-winning public relations and marketing campaigns in the disciplines of finance and consumer packaged goods. Adamec is a member of the Cannabis Marketing Association and serves on the National Cannabis Industry Association's Marketing & Advertising Committee.
