NANCY WHITEMAN

Co-founder & Co-owner - Wana Brands

Nancy Whiteman is co-founder & co-owner of Wana Brands, which produces Wana Edibles and WanaCapsXR. Nancy oversees Wana Brands sales and marketing efforts, leading a sales force that consistently grows Wana’s presence in every region of Colorado. She is responsible for strategic partnerships and licensing agreements domestically and internationally. Nancy manages Wana’s finance and accounting department. She is also responsible for the strategic vision of Wana Brands. Established in 2010, Wana Brands is one of the largest MIPs (marijuana infused products) in Colorado, with products carried in over 400 dispensaries.

Prior to founding Wana, Nancy was a principal with The Whiteman Group, a sales and marketing consultancy, and previously held a range of senior level marketing and business development positions including Vice President, Marketing and New Corporate Ventures for the Paul Revere Insurance Group in Massachusetts.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is an active member of the Cannabis Business Alliance’s Edibles Manufacturers Council and the National Cannabis Industry Association.
