JEANNETTE WARD



Jeannette Ward is the director of data and marketing at MJ Freeway Business Solutions. Before coming to MJ Freeway, Jeannette spent 15 years in the corporate sector leading marketing and communications for companies including The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, and UPS. Her experience includes managing all communications platforms, including print, social media, Web, mobile apps, TV, executive communications, event activation, and consumer and employee reward programs.

MJ Freeway Business Solutions is the cannabis industry’s market leading software and small business services company with clients in 23 states and 5 countries. Jeannette’s team owns all marketing and public relations domestically and internationally in the fast-growing, highly-regulated legal cannabis industry. She also owns MJ Freeway’s data products division which harnesses the power and insights of the cannabis industry’s largest POS data repository.

Jeannette’s most recent roles at The Coca-Cola Company included a Sales and Marketing leadership role where she had responsibility for $9.2M of Coca-Cola product sales in 1,360 U.S. retail locations owning the complete in-store Coca-Cola brand experience, marketing communications, shopper messaging, pricing, SKU assortment, and merchandising. She also led internal data acquisition and management for The Coca-Cola Company’s entire North American sales business. Before Coca-Cola, she led all North American employee communications at The Home Depot and owned the CEO’s annual internal communications for global audiences at UPS.

Jeannette’s work has been featured in BusinessWeek and among Corporate Executive Board’s world- class best communications practices. Jeannette has a BA from Spelman College and an MA from Georgia State University.
