ERIN CARLSTROM

Erin Carlstrom was admitted to the California bar in 2008. Prior to joining RLG, she worked in private practice as a business planning and civil litigation attorney. Erin attended Yale University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was an NCAA Academic-All American and four year member of the Women’s Varsity Swim Team. She attended Pepperdine University’s School of Law, where she competed regionally on the Moot Court team, participated in international dispute resolution training through the Straus Institute, and worked for the US Department of Justice.

Erin was elected to the Santa Rosa City Council in 2012, and immediately began advocating for medical cannabis patients and transparency at City Hall, first by convening the Medical Cannabis Subcommittee which expanded patient access, and protecting patient use during Santa Rosa’s smoking ordinance update, and then by co-chairing the year-long Open Government Task Force, which has revolutionized operations and transparency in Santa Rosa. Erin has also advocated for the industry through her work in the Democratic Party, where she recently completed her term as the Executive Vice President of the Young Democrats of America.

Erin lives in Santa Rosa with her son, Adlai, who keeps her delightedly busy in her free time.
