Brian is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mānoa Botanicals. A Honolulu resident for over 13 years, Brian is a seasoned executive with a proven track record building and growing businesses and has over 25 years of demonstrated success in increasing shareholder value through business development, strategic partnerships, business planning, and project management. He is currently the Principal at MindSpark Ventures, which provides advice and consulting services for small to medium sized businesses. Previously Brian was Director of Better Place, Inc. an electric vehicle infrastructure and services provider, where he led the deployment of the largest EV charging network in the State. Prior to that he was CEO at Sunrise Capital (dba Kona Bay Marine Resources), a marine biotechnology company that developed a world-class genetic breeding program. Before Sunrise Capital, Brian led companies or was a senior executive in the medical technology, consumer internet and business intelligence software industries. He started several technology companies, raised significant venture capital, and helped lead one company to its initial public offering (IPO) (Brio Software which was ultimately acquired by Oracle Corp). Brian received his MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona and his BS in Business Administration at Arizona State University.
