John MacKay

John MacKay holds a Ph.D. from the University of Vermont in chemistry focused on the synthesis for cancer fighting molecules, as well as isolation, purification and profiling with HPLC and Mass Spectrometry.

John MacKay joined Waters Technologies in July, 1983 after teaching appointments at 3 colleges. His career has included roles in technical sales, product development and management during the 80s, involved with mass spectrometry business development during the 90’s and as the Senior Director of Business Development for the Americas from 2002 until recently heading up Strategic Technology team.
