A veteran of the U.S. Navy and a former Signals Analyst for Lockheed Martin, Elan Nelson entered the emerging medical marijuana industry in 2009 on a whim. Seeking to find a job that didn’t bore her, Elan quickly realized her part-time job could become an exciting career. She has worked in various capacities for several Denver dispensaries and currently works as a Business Strategy and Development consultant for Medicine Man Denver, and serves as Vice Chair for the Marijuana Industry Group. Elan is also working on a new business venture, Medicine Man Technologies, Inc., which provides licensing and consulting services for those looking to enter the cannabis industry using Medicine Man’s extensive experience and expertise. She is never bored anymore.
