Chris Woods founded Terrapin Care Station in Boulder, Colorado in January of 2010. Prior to opening one of Boulder’s largest dispensaries, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from The University of Colorado at Boulder. As one of the largest individual donors to the Amendment 64 campaign in Colorado, Chris has been heavily involved with the campaign. Further, he has worked closely with the Vicente-Sederberg group at the state capital as well as locally with the Boulder City Council in effectively implementing the text of Amendment 64. On February 18th, 2014 Terrapin Care Station became the first recreational marijuana dispensary to open within the City of Boulder.
