Solstice

Billy Marcoe is the Processing Manager at Solstice, a Seattle based cannabis company focused on production and processing. Billy gained exposure to food processing early as the son of a 3rd generation candy maker, and started on the ground floor with Solstice in 2011. Since then he has handled a wide range of processing tasks in route to managing the department, including harvesting, curing, manicuring, extraction, and packaging. Solstice’s goal has been to standardize how cannabis is processed and allow consumers to access high quality cannabis on a consistent basis. Billy helps lead the charge in clean practices with a focus is on creating scalable, sustainable practices. Previous to Solstice Billy graduated from Cal State University Fullerton in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing. He was drafted in the 2010 Major League baseball amateur draft by the Seattle Mariners and played 2 seasons in their minor league system.
